Korg minilogue Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer
Korg has launched the minilogue , a 37 slim-key , fullyprogrammable analog polyphonic synthesizer .
The synth circuits for the minilogue are new , ground-up designs . It ’ s a four-voice polyphonic true-analog synth with an interface that ’ s designed for accessibility . The minilogue ’ s wave shape capability lets users fine tune the oscillators ’ harmonics . The minilogue is also equipped with a variety of types of modulation , including cross modulation , oscillator sync , and ring modulation , as well as a delay with a high-pass filter .
Selectable voice modes let users configure the four voices for performance . The voices can be set to four-note polyphony for chords or layered for thick basses and leads . There is also a 16-step sequencer with motion sequence recording capabilities .

Buffet Crampon Tradition Professional Clarinet
Buffet Crampon has introduced the Tradition professional clarinet , which features a new bore concept inspired by a pre-1950s design while taking into account the needs of modern musical repertoire and performance practice . This cylindrical bore compliments the R13 and RC bore families .
The new bore concept traces its inspiration to one of the company ’ s earliest modern professional clarinets , the BC20 . The cylindrical bore design is reminiscent of the BC20 ’ s clarity of sound , with a tone hole placement inspired by the Tosca design . The Tradition clarinet is designed to present a clear , focused , rich sound suitable for any acoustic environment and an even scale for consistent intonation throughout all registers .

Yamaha YEV Series Electric Violins
Yamaha has introduced the YEV Series of four all-wood electric violin models , which are available in four- or five-string models .
The all-wood violins are nearly identical in weight to an acoustic violin and the player can use their existing shoulder rest and bow . The solid centre body is made of maple , mahogany , and spruce , while the instrument frame is constructed of walnut . The maple neck features a solid ebony fingerboard and ebony tuning pegs .
The YEV series uses an integrated bridge and pickup design found on the higher-end Silent Violin Pro series . This system is designed to capture the sound of the entire instrument – the strings and the body , plus the player ’ s bowing and articulation – while minimizing feedback .
