MESA / Boogie Subway D-350 Bass Amp
MESA / Boogie has introduced the Subway D-350 bass amp . Hand-crafted in Petaluma , CA , the amp is MESA / Boogie ’ s most affordable bass amp to date . Part of the Subway Bass Series , the D-350 weighs 3 lb ., 2 oz ., and is capable of 350W of Class D power .
Building on the foundation laid by the Subway D-800 , the Subway D-350 uses a solid-state preamp coupled with a lightweight Class D power amp and switch-mode power supply to deliver a full tone in a small and lightweight package that can work for home use and studio recording sessions , while still delivering enough power and punch at gigs in small- to mid-sized venues , or as a micro-sized backup amp on tour .
The Subway D-350 adapts for use with active or passive basses with the flip of the Active / Passive switch , while the Input Mute switch lets users use inline tuners silently . The Bright switch adds bite and sparkle to the tone and opens the top end a bit more , and all the switches have LED status indicators . Separate Gain and Master Volume controls allow players to dial up a range of tones , while the built-in fixed high-pass filter ( HPF ) blocks unwanted sub-sonic frequencies .

Godin Guitars has launched the Session R-HT Pro guitar . At first glance , with its reversed headstock , fixed bridge , and humbucker , the Session R-HT PRO looks best suited for rock or metal , but the guitar has been designed to fit within any style of playing .
The Session R-HT Pro features a Seymour Duncan ‘ 59 ( Bourbon Burst and Retro Orange ) or custom ( Carbon White ) humbucker at the bridge , two Lace Sensor Hot Gold ’ s in the middle and neck positions , plus a five-way switch , volume , and tone .
Made entirely in Canada , the Godin Session R-HT Pro features a Canadian Laurentian basswood body , hard rock maple neck , and a rosewood fingerboard . The “ acoustically tuned ” matte finish and fixed bridge ( with through holes ) allows the strings to vibrate more freely , improving both the sustain and natural resonance of the guitar . The headstock features the “ vintage ” Godin logo .
