Sara Kae is a young Indigenous artist born and raised in Thunder Bay , ON . Her music is best described as singer-songwriter , adult contemporary , or pop with an infusion of authentic Indigenous sounds . Kae has shared her love of singing and songwriting with her community for many years . Starting at age 12 , she would visit communities and schools to promote healthy lifestyles and encourage students to follow their dreams , especially amongst the Indigenous youth . Kae ’ s parents were role models and took in youth struggling with substance abuse , poverty , and inadequate living situations . This shaped the young singer and her goals to be a major role model in her own community and beyond .
In 2019 , Kae graduated from Metalworks Institute as a vocal major in the Music Performance and Technology program . She was awarded the “ Outstanding Graduate of The Year Award ” from Career Colleges of Ontario . Soon after graduating , she began working at 106.5 ELMNT FM , a Toronto-based radio station owned by APTN . She quickly became an on-air personality during their Maximum Music Weekends . During that time , she also completed a diploma for Music Business and began working with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra . More recently , Kae released her newest single , “ Rise ,” together with Rocket Fuel Records , in June .
At just 20 years old , singer-songwriter Mikalyn already has an impressive slew of accolades to her name , including being the winner of TheMuseum ’ s REVERBERATIONS Unplugged . Though her sound is primarily indie and alt-pop , Mikalyn has also lent her vocals to electronic artists , most recently on a collaborative track with Brazilian EDM artist RQntz and producer Too Much , titled “ Dangerous .” Mikalyn gained an initial unconventional foothold when Brazilian record label Reven Beats discovered her original , piano-driven music on SoundCloud and offered to transform her songs into EDM remixes , leading her to expand her sound with the help of many other artists of differing styles .
The Guelph , ON-based singer-songwriter pens relatable songs that touch on relationships , love ( or lack thereof ), and everyday experiences and emotions . Inspired by the likes of Between Friends , Tears for Fears , Billie Eilish , and Marina , Mikalyn ’ s sound is a vibrant and colourful blend of infectious pop melodies , soaring vocals , and polished production . In June 2022 , she performed at Toronto ’ s historic El Mocambo as part of NXNE .

Harm & Ease is a rock and roll band originally founded in Burlington , ON made up of Rylan Whalen ( vocals ), Danny Lopez ( guitar ), John Goodblood ( bass / guitar / vocals ), and Alex Hammett ( drums ). The band spent five years in Argentina and made their way to the top of the country ’ s rock scene . They have recently relocated back to Toronto , and have been striving to make an impact on the Canadian rock scene , especially with their single “ Cut Me Loose .” This single has gathered over a million streams and reached the top 10 on the Canadian Rock Charts . It was produced by award-winning producer Tawgs Salter and released by Cosmo Cat Records .
Harm & Ease has a distinct style stemming from a rich variety of influences from music old and new . They have worked with several notable artists and producers such as Walk Off the Earth , Joe Chiccarelli , Dominic John Davis , and more . They are currently promoting their latest single , “ Lemonade ,” which features platinum-selling artist Fefe Dobson .
