Austrian Audio OD303 Dynamic Vocal Mic
Austrian Audio has announced the OD303 , a new dynamic vocal microphone microphone designed to give singers and performers high-end quality at an affordable price . With its rugged construction , the OD303 will withstand daily use in the rehearsal room and the wear and tear of the road . The microphone is also designed to fit comfortably in the hand .
The OD303 also incorporates the Open Acoustic technology of Austrian Audio , which delivers an optimally shaped supercardioid polar pattern across a wide frequency band and with increased feedback stability . Sound engineers can appreciate minimum changes in the sound and without increased feedback ; due to the open design , there are only minimal changes in sound and feedback behavior when holding the mic close to the head grille . In addition , the proprietary 3D Pop Noise Diffuser , developed by Austrian Audio , reduces noise caused by plosive sounds such as “ T ” and “ P ”.
Gamechanger Audio Bigsby Pedal
Gamechanger Audio has released the Bigsby Pedal . It ’ s a polyphonic pitch shifting pedal with a design meant to reproduce the feel and sound of the classic Bigsby tremolo arm .
The pedal features Rate , Blend , Tone , and Depth controls , plus an Invert switch on the back panel to change the pitch shift direction , while the Detune parameter mimics the imperfections and dissonant properties of traditional mechanical string-bending hardware . The Bigsby Pedal is also equipped with an external Footswitch input to turn on Latching Mode as well as an Expression Output that allows users to use the Bigsby as a spring-loaded EXP controller for other audio devices . The pedal also offers full MIDI CC and PC control over all parameters , including preset recalling and clock syncing .
Rapier 22 Solid Body Electric Guitar
The Rapier 22 is t he latest addition to the recently-launched new generation of solid bodied Rapier electric guitars , based on the original models from the 1960s and redesigned by British guitar designer Alan Entwistle .
While Entwistle has aimed to retain the charms and visual characteristics of the original Rapier 22 , significant changes have been made within hardware upgrades , tonewoods , construction , and playability for this new model . It is available in Fiesta Red , Three-Tone Sunburst , Daphne Blue , and Arctic White , offset with a three-ply scratchplate , and with a new Rapier headstock logo .
Selected specifically for its natural sonic characteristics , Okoume , from Central Africa , is the chosen tonewood for the body , whilst for speed , comfort and accuracy , the four-bolt , soft ‘ C ’ profiled neck with fully adjustable truss rod , is now crafted from hard rock Canadian maple , with a 12-in . radius rosewood fingerboard , fitted with 23 medium-jumbo frets ( including zero fret ). The new Rapier 22 also features a smooth , friction-free , precision-cut 43mm nut , Wilkinson machine heads , and high spec ’ d roller bridge .
