Roswell Pro Audio Mini K67x Microphone
Roswell Pro Audio has announced a new addition to Mini K microphone collection with the Mini K67x , adding to a product range that includes the Mini K47 , Mini K47 KD , and Mini K87 . The first in the line with a transformer-coupled circuit , the new Mini K67x is designed to infuse colour , character , and mojo into vocal and instrument tracks . The mic retains the “ point and shoot ” simplicity of the Mini K lineup , as well as the familiar compact form factor .
The mic ’ s name refers both to the capsule design and circuit topology . The capsule is dimensionally based on the K67 , although Roswell has created a proprietary voicing , which gives the mics its characteristic extended frequency response . The “ x ” refers to the transformer-coupled circuit , designed to complement the source with harmonics . The sonic inspiration for the K67x was the workhorse tube mic of the 1960s , which offered wideband frequency response and harmonics .
Latin Percussion Carlos Santana Africa Speaks Congas
Latin Percussion ( LP ) has expanded its line of Carlos Santana drums with the new Africa Speaks congas .
The drums are constructed utilizing three-ply Siam oak staves and finished in a yellow stain lacquer that is embellished with the “ African Mask ” graphic art from Santana ’ s 2019 release . Included in the collection are matching Bongos ( LP201AX-SAS ), Quinto ( LP522X-SAS ), Conga ( LP559X-SAS ), and Tumba ( LP552X-SAS ). All are custom fitted with handpicked rawhide heads and chrome Comfort Curve II rims .
Also new to the LP Santana offering is a newly-designed set of 10- and 11-in . Aspire Black Magic congas . The drums come complete with a double conga stand ( LPA646-BM ), while a matching set of bongos ( LPA601-BM ) is also available . The Siam Oak shells are finished in a black sparkle lacquer with black powder coated hardware and natural rawhide heads .

Dean Guitars has introduced the Z Select Fluence Black Satin electric guitar . This new model features the addition of Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker pickups for more tonal options .
Like other Select Series models , the Z Select Fluence Black Satin starts off with eastern mahogany for the body and three-piece neck , on a 24.75-in . scale . The set-through neck construction allows for stability and durability , while a dual-action truss rod enables intonation adjustments as needed . Dean ’ s Satin Neck design enhances playability , assisted by 22 jumbo frets finished with pearloid ultra inlays . The contoured heel joint provides players access to the upper registry for solos .
Players have tonal options with the Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers at the neck and bridge . The controls include Volume and push-pull Tone , along with an audio taper pot . To further enhance the mechanical stability of the guitar , Dean has selected a Graph Tech NuBone nut ( 1 11 / 16-in . width ), a Tune-o-matic bridge with a Z plate , and Grover 18:1 tuners . Dean ’ s V-shaped headstock , featuring a chrome logo , and five-ply black-white binding provide the finishing details .
