MusicMedic Large Post-Fitting Pliers
MusicMedic has released the Large Post-Fitting Pliers , which are a specialized tool for reducing the centre hole of a woodwind post to remove play between the post and rod that travels through it .
When the hole in a post is too large for the rod that travels through it , even properly fitted keys are noisy and difficult to adjust . MusicMedic says it ’ s made fixing these posts easier with these pliers . It says fitting posts with these pliers takes seconds and the resulting job is invisible and long-lasting .

Ohana PKT-220G Pineapple Ukulele
Following the introduction of its pineapple tenor ukulele in mahogany and spruce , Ohana Music has added the PKT-220G built in all-solid mango .
Mango wood is known for its unusual and attractive appearance , and is considered eco-friendly . Its sound resembles koa and projects with a warm and rich tone , with an excellent mid-range response , according to the company . This new tenor model is ideal for those who are more comfortable in the longer tenor scale and are interested in the extra projection from the pineapple-shaped sound chamber . The new PKT-220G comes with solid wood binding on the body and headstock with abalone shell inlay throughout .

Orange Hand-Built OE-1 Guitar
Orange Amplification has introduced the hand-built OE-1 Guitar . Designed by Orange ’ s Technical Director Ade Emsley and constructed by luthier Jason Burns at Blast Cult , each guitar is made to order in England .
Fashioned from solid mahogany , the OE-1 is available in a two-toned gold and ivory or custom finish . The custom 12-in . radius ebony fretboard has 22 frets . The inlaid headstock and body has a chessboard nitro binding .
The guitar features a nickel , ABM , Kalamazoo , Tune-O- Matic Bridge and stop-bar tailpiece for easier adjustments and tuning stability . The OE-1 is fitted with Grover tuners , four custom turned brass control knobs , and a three-way switchcraft toggle switch with a custom clear pickguard .
Purchasers of the OE-1 will be offered a choice of alnico Staple soapbar P90s or custom Mojo dogear UK Filtertrons . The guitar will be supplied in a Hiscox hard case .
