Tracktion F .’ em FM Synth
Tracktion has introduced the F .’ em FM synth , which features eight synchronizable wave oscillators , two sample operators , and a deep modulation matrix .
F .’ em allows for sounds associated with iconic synths such as the Access Virus , the Yamaha DX7 , and the Yamaha GS1 . But beyond its synth emulation capabilities lies an extremely deep modulation matrix . This matrix provides a very wide range of possibilities and lends itself to the creation of unique FM sounds . Tracktion says that by allowing users to combine simple waveforms to create more intricate outcomes , sounds like bell timbres , metallic tones , punchy bass lines , synthetic brass sounds , and the tones of electric pianos become easily achievable .

Dhani Harrison ( son of The Beatles ’ George Harrison ) has carved a unique career path as a multi-instrumentalist , composer , and singer-songwriter , with a versatility that has led to collaborations with artists as varied as the Wu-Tang Clan , UNKLE , Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers , Pearl Jam , and Jeff Lynne ’ s ELO , to name but a few . Harrison says he designed the signature model to be his ideal stage ukulele that sounds great when not plugged in .
The Dhani Harrison Ukulele is available in two different finishes , each with its own unique fretboard inlays and engraved designs on the back of the instrument . Designed for live performance , the tenor-sized ukulele features a solid ovangkol wood top , with ovangkol back and sides , providing a warm sound - as well as a three-quarter depth , upgraded Fender electronics , and distinctive build and aesthetics . With a choice of daytime and nighttime finishes , the stains were developed to maintain the visual grain of the wood .
