PRS HDRX 20 Amp
Paul Reed Smith Guitars ( PRS ) launched the HDRX amp family in the summer of 2021 with both 100- and 50-watt heads , and has now introduced the PRS HDRX 20 . This lower-wattage HDRX amp features PRS ’ s newly documented “ Authentic Hendrix ” Touring Circuit . This circuit is heavily inspired by one of Hendrix ’ s personal amps , purportedly used at Woodstock , which Paul Reed Smith and PRS Amp Designer Doug Sewell were able to study in 2018 .
Designed to push the high-end so it is clear , but not so much that it ’ s harsh , the PRS HDRX allows for thick yet articulate aggression that can be backed off for smoother tones . In this lower-wattage package , the HDRX 20 breaks up beautifully at more usable volumes . The addition of a Master Volume control on the HDRX 20 , a new feature for HDRX amps , is another modern convenience . Players can use the Master Volume to control the power amp section of the HDRX , making it more user friendly for players who do not want to add a volume attenuator to their setup . The PRS HDRX 20 also features a three-band TMB tone stack , two-way bright switch , high-mid gain switch , and presence controls and is designed with internally bridged channels with individual treble and bass volume controls , eliminating the need for a jumper cable .

RØDE has announced a new addition to its range of USB microphones , the NT-USB +. Based on the NT-USB , the NT-USB + is a professionalgrade USB microphone with new features . It is also compact , portable , and versatile , making it the ideal microphone for users who want to capture studio-quality sound with ease .
The NT-USB + features a studio-grade condenser capsule that evokes the sound of a classic large-diaphragm condenser microphone , delivering warmth and clarity , with a full frequency response and tight cardioid polar pattern for clear , focused audio . It also features internal DSP , which allows users to apply advanced APHEX processing to their audio . This processing can be activated via the companion app RØDE Central – available for desktop and mobile – for use with any other software or application .
Vintage Coaster Series Electric Basses
Vintage has introduced its new Coaster Series electric and bass guitars along with Coaster Series Guitar Packs . The new Vintage Coaster Series of guitars and basses are offered in six single and twin cutaway body styles in a host of colours and left-handed options . The pickups for the Coaster Series have been specifically designed by British guitar builder and designer Alan Entwistle , custom wound with high grade copper wire and dipped in high viscosity wax to isolate and protect the coils from moisture and reduce microphonic feedback issues .
For bass players , the Vintage Coaster Series is available with a choice of three models , the V40 four-string with a rosewood fingerboard and Entwistle XPC split single coil pickups while the V49 four-string sports two Entwistle XJC single coils . The five-string V495 switches to a maple board . The Bass Packs come complete with Vintage branded padded carry bag , strap , cable , pick , clip-on tuner and a Kinsman 10watt bass combo amplifier with Master Volume control and 3-band EQ and , for silent practicing , both combo amplifiers feature a handy headphone socket .
