The collection captures a symphony-sized ( 90-plus-piece ) orchestra inside the world ’ s largest purpose-built recording studio , with first-call musicians recorded by Grammy-winning engineer Simon Rhodes using Abbey Road Studios ’ selection of microphones . This hollow-body , signature Falcon-style guitar , which honours the Black Crowes guitarist , features a resonant three-ply maple body with solid spruce top and 1959-style trestle bracing with a spruce block under the bridge . As well , it features an oversized F-holes for added sonic projection and feedback control , plus a 12-in . -radius ebony fingerboard with 22 medium frets and mother of pearl Neo-Classic inlays on the maple neck .
The guitar includes a TV Jones Classic humbucking bridge pickup and a Broad ’ Tron BT65 neck pickup , which drives the guitar ’ s unique voice with a robust and punchy midrange and a smooth high-end . The control layout — separate bridge and neck volume knobs , three-way position toggle switch , master tone , and master volume with treble bleed circuit — allows for wide tonal variations .
