Modal Electronics COBALT8 Virtual- Analog Synthesizer
Modal Electronics has released the COBALT8 , an eight-voice extended virtual-analog synthesiser . It features 64 oscillators with true eight-voice polyphony , 34 algorithms , and a 512-note sequencer .
Building on the tradition of warm and punchy analog-style synth sounds , the COBALT8 invites musicians , producers , and sound designers to explore new virtual-analog synthesiser textures beyond the limits of its analog predecessors . On top of the COBALT8 ’ s oscillator engine , the company added a new morphable four-pole ladder filter . Combined with Modal ’ s modulation options , a real-time / step sequencer , the arpeggiator , the premium FATAR 37-note keyboard , MPE , studio-quality effects , and MODALapp integration , the COBALT8 is a versatile electronic music instrument for playing vintage synth sounds while adding new sound dimensions .

Moog Claravox Centennial Theremin
Moog Music has introduced the Claravox Centennial theremin . Its release commemorates the 100 th anniversary of Leon Theremin ’ s eponymous invention , which is one of the first known electronic musical instruments .
Moog says the Claravox Centennial is the most versatile theremin it has made . Users can switch between Traditional and Modern performance modes to select between classic heterodyne analog oscillators and versatile wavetable generators with assignable scales , quantization , and octave ranges . An analog wave-shaping circuit ( derived from the Etherwave Pro ) imbues ethereal sonic character and empowers soundsculpting possibilities , and the on-board analog BBD delay creates a wash of echoes and warmth . The Claravox Centennial provides access to multiple levels of calibration and control settings to create a custom fit between the instrument and the player . Other features include MIDI and CV inputs and outputs for integrating with DAWs , control of external sound sources , front-panel preset storage for instant recall of sounds and settings , pitch quantization and scale selections to help educate players , and a dedicated software editor to further expand the instrument ’ s control and sonic capabilities . It also features brass antennas , cloth-bound control panels , and a fine-grain walnut hardwood cabinet .

ddrum Mercury D-Bone Accessory Boom Arm
ddrum has released the Mercury D-Bone accessory boom arm , which is designed for adding an extra cymbal to a drum set without having to add a full cymbal stand .
Available in short and long sizes , the D-Bone provides a solution to mount almost any crash , ride , or effects cymbal to a setup , allowing players to optimize a compact space based on their needs and preferences . Both the long and short versions of the Mercury D-Bone come as two-piece sets , and include a mounting arm and a boom arm . Each D-Bone features dual-tilters for optimal angling and lends itself to multiple mounting options . It can be attached to a cymbal stand to create a double cymbal stand , or it can be attached to a tom stand to create a tom-cymbal combination . Four double-D-type , contoured wing nuts provide adjustment at both tilting points , as well as at the bottom clamp and top wing nut . A pair of small cymbal felts are included .
