Radial Launches YouTube Live Show Radial Engineering launched a new YouTube live broadcast program on Sept . 23 rd . Titled Tech Corner , the monthly live broadcast will feature Radial ’ s tech team members answering user questions and discussing topics such as Radial gear setup , troubleshooting , tips , etc . As well , individuals can send questions to the tech team in advance via email or ask them live during the broadcast .
“ For years , we ’ ve been helping customers on a one-to-one basis , working to troubleshoot issues and find the best solutions ,” says Radial tech team member Ryan Juchnowski . “ Now we get to take these conversations to a live format via YouTube , where anyone can jump in and share questions or experiences . Tech Corner is going to be a great place for audio professionals to join the discussion about Radial gear , while hopefully learning a practical concept or tip they can apply to their next gig .” Episodes will be archived and made available on Radial ’ s YouTube channel after airing . Following its recent acquisition of Super-Sensitive Music String Company , D ’ Addario has now announced its purchase of National Picks , which is known for its metal finger-pick .
As of August 2021 , the fingerpick company is now branded as National Picks by D ’ Addario . Unchanged since their introduction in 1930 , the picks are made in the U . S . from various alloys to create a “ vintage-American sound ,” according to the company . In 1930 , the United States Government issued a patent for National Picks that is etched on the original models . All picks will continue to be manufactured in the U . S .
D ’ Addario says that beginning in 2022 , its National Pick offering will include finger picks in stainless steel , brass , and nickel . In addition to the finger picks , D ’ Addario will be offering the National Celluloid thumb picks available in white , black , and tortoiseshell in both large and medium sizes .
