Gator Instrument Face Masks & Instrument Bell Covers Gator Cases has released wind instrument face masks and instrument bell covers to let band musicians practice and play safer during the era of COVID-19 and other airborne illnesses .
The wind instrument double-layer face masks allow musicians to play their instrument without having to remove their face covering during performances . The masks are designed to meet the recommendations set forth by the Performing Arts Aerosol Study commissioned by the National Federation of State High School Associations ( NFHS ) by reducing the spread of aerosols during use . The masks , which are offered in multiples sizes , come in black and feature magnetic clasps to keep the opening flap in place both during performance and when not in active use , along with adjustable , elastic ear straps to ensure comfort and proper fit .
The wind instrument double-layer bell covers fit securely over the bell opening of the instrument to help reduce the spread of aerosols during use . The GBELL Cover Series covers come equipped with a removable MERV- 13 filter and are also designed to meet the recommendations set forth by the Performing Arts Aerosol Study . All of the covers feature an elastic closure and cord lock to properly secure them over the bell openings of wind instruments and do not cause any backpressure or acoustic loss during performance . The GBELL Cover Series will fit a wide variety of wind and brass instruments from clarinets to large tubas , and range in size between 2 and 32 in .
