WHAT TO DO IN ANAHEIM
From Firby Marketing Group ’ s Dave Firby
1 . Attend the NWC NAMM Canadian reception on Wednesday April 12
2 . If you have time , make a trip to Newport Beach , and eat at The Crab Cooker restaurant — amazing food , a favourite for decades .
3 . Koizan Sushi on east Katella ( technically in Orange , not Anaheim ) is a fabulous favourite restaurant as well .
4 . The Friday night midnight show at the Hilton Lobby bar is always packed and usually a Van Halen Tribute Band ( although they have mixed it up once in a while .)
5 . Of course , the food trucks and the entertainment in the Anaheim Convention Center Grand Plaza are always amazing .
NEWPORT BEACH
Firby : I am really looking forward to renewing relationships with suppliers , customers , competition , and vendors ( hotel staff , etc .). We are a people-based industry ; it ’ s the arts , it ’ s not battery sales or television sales . It ’ s music . There are so many entertainment options during the show it is impossible to see them all and attend the show . But I ’ ll try my best .
