RIP : Music World Academy Founder Cosimo Antonio Riccio has Died The family of Thunder Bay , ON ’ s Music World Academy founder Cosimo Antonio Riccio has announced that Riccio passed away Dec 6 , 2022 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with his family by his side , aged 75 .
As per Riccio ’ s obituary , his passion was teaching music , which led to his ultimate dream of opening his own music store . Music World Academy was established in September 1976 and offered accordion , guitar and drum lessons , later transitioning into a retail music store . Riccio was proud of his business and enjoyed interacting with customers and found happiness in bringing music into their lives . He loved going to work every day so much that it didn ’ t feel like work to him .
Funeral Services for Riccio were held on Dec 13 , 2022 , at St . Dominic ’ s Church . A private family entombment followed in Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum at St . Andrew ’ s Cemetery . Donations may be made in Riccio ’ s memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society .

He is also an AVSO specialist , putting him in a perfect position to understand and improve ongoing solution offerings and related services for Federal Government agencies . Previous positions Gagnon has held include Sales Director for Solotech .
