D ’ Addario Acquires Super-Sensitive Musical String Company D ’ Addario has acquired Super-Sensitive Musical String Company , whose inception dates back to the 1930s . D ’ Addario says this acquisition enhances the options it can provide educators and students , including Red Label , a legacy brand in the student orchestral string market .
D ’ Addario says it intends to honour the company ’ s storied history , particularly the Red Label brand , by maintaining the integrity of the Super-Sensitive family of strings and ensuring its customer base “ can continue to enjoy the brand they know .”
In the short-term , D ’ Addario will transition the production of Super-Sensitive ’ s product portfolio to Farmingdale , NY , with “ keen attention to rebuilding retailers ’ and wholesalers ’ inventory needs .” This will also allow D ’ Addario to include Red Label and other Super-Sensitive products as part of its global distribution network .

Taylor Guitars Transitions Ownership to Its Employees Taylor Guitars has announced its transition to 100 % employee ownership through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan ( ESOP ).

… The CITT / ICTS Board of Directors has announced the cancellation of Expo-Scène 2021 .
The 2021 edition was scheduled to take place on March 31 and April 1 , 2021 , at the Palais des congrès de Montréal . However , the ongoing COVID-19 situation prevailing in Québec has forced the organization to once again postpone the event . Many industry events , such as the annual Rendez-vous 2020 conference have been able to transition to online virtual events . Expo-Scène 2022 will take place on April 13 and 14 , 2022 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal .
