NAMM ’ s ‘ Believe in Music ’ Virtual Event Expanded to Two Days
NAMM ’ s upcoming virtual event , Believe in Music , has expanded from one to two days , and will now be held on Jan . 20 th and 21 st , 2022 . Following in the footsteps of 2021 ’ s Believe in Music Week , the association calls it an “ online global gathering to celebrate the people who bring music to the world .”
All exhibitors for The 2022 NAMM Show will receive a complementary Basic brand page for Believe in Music , as well as for the new digital NAMM Show + platform . The live chat feature on the brand pages will be active on Thursday , Jan . 20 th only , limiting active staff involvement to just one day of the event . NAMM says exhibitors can gain passive leads , as attendees return to the platform for additional on-demand educational content Friday through Sunday .
Thursday , Jan . 20 th will feature brand participation and chat , Believe TV with hosts Joe Lamond and Herb Trawick , a global livestream , and live education sessions . The following day , Friday , Jan . 21 st , will feature live education sessions , networking opportunities , and recorded on-demand content .
Among the education topics released so far are : The Custom of the Future with
Doug Stephens ; How to Use Facebook to Increase Your Lesson Students with Ayana Webb ; and 50 Years of Show Technology Evolution with John Huntington .
The interactive brand pages will showcase a variety of content to help fuel product discovery , trendspotting , connections , inspiration , and opportunities . Exhibitors can also share job openings , brand news , product galleries , and more . On the Thursday , there will be the live chat function to help exhibitors communicate with attendees .
