CANADIAN MUSIC TRADE
L
ast January’s NAMM Show was unlike any
of its predecessors. A newly-expanded
Anaheim Convention Center allowed orga-
nizers to take the annual MI extravaganza
into new territories, bridging into the pro
audio and live event technology sectors in a bold
and exciting way, both in terms of exhibits and
educational programming. And the numbers were
staggering – 115,085 registered industry profes-
sionals from more than 100 countries, 7,000 brands
represented by nearly 2,000 exhibiting companies,
and over 500 education sessions. The only thing it
left you wanting for was more time.
As you’ll see in our annual preview, The 2019
NAMM Show promises to live up to our heightened
expectations and even improve in some areas, so
keep reading to find out what you need to see and
experience from Jan. 24-27 in Anaheim.
