Kawai KDP75 & KDP120 Digital Pianos Kawai has added two models to its KDP series of digital pianos ; the new KDP75 and KDP120 , which replace the KDP70 and KDP110 , respectively .
Upgraded attributes include a quieter action , connectivity to Kawai ’ s Piano Remote and Piabook apps for iOS and Android , and Low Volume Balance , which balances the tone when played at low volumes . Both models feature improved Shigeru Kawai concert grand samples , which provide significantly enhanced piano samples . The company says the new highlight is the Low Volume Balance , which adjusts keyboard touch and piano tone characteristics , allowing pianissimo passages to be played smoothly and more naturally when playing through speakers at a reduced volume setting . Featuring Kawai ’ s Responsive Hammer Compact II ( RHCII ) keyboard action , the KDP120 is designed to deliver a touch that feels and responds like an authentic acoustic grand piano action .

Black Diamond V-Fluorocarbon Ukulele Strings Black Diamond has released the V-Fluorocarbon sets of ukulele strings . They ’ re designed to have a brighter tone than their nylon counterparts and offer a longer life that results in staying in tune .
The V-Fluorocarbon strings are made from high-quality materials imported from Argentina . The N54 soprano ukulele strings are 21 in . long for 12 to 14 frets on the fingerboard ( GCEA ). The N58 concert ukulele strings are 23 in . long with tuning in GCEA for 14 to 17 frets . The N56 tenor ukulele strings are 26 in . long for 17 to 19 frets with tuning also in GCEA , but some tuned to GCEA that the fourth string is ‘ low G .’ The N52 baritone ukulele strings are 30 in . long for 19 to 21 frets . The baritone tuning is DGBE and tunes the same as top four strings of standard guitar DGBE tuning .
