With no Summer NAMM this year , for the first time , the NAMM Top 100 Dealer Awards will be held in Anaheim during The NAMM Show . The awards spotlight the industry ’ s best music product retailers , recognizing their accomplishments and rewarding their hard work . In addition to honouring the Top 100 Dealer recipients , there will be seven “ Best Of ” category winners revealed , from which the prestigious “ Dealer of the Year ” is selected . The three Canadian retailers who made this year ’ s top-100 list are Wentworth Music in British Columbia ; Ottawa Pianos ; and former Dealer of the Year winner Cosmo Music .
PRO AUDIO EDUCATION Show attendees will be able to access a variety of pro audio education sessions in a variety of industry-related topics . The sessions will be presented by the pro audio industry ’ s leaders , as they share their knowledge , insights , and thoughts about the past , present and future of the industry and technology . The Audio Production and Music Technology track will incorporate sessions hosted by TEC Tracks , the Audio Engineering Society
( AES ), and Advanced Audio + Applications Exchange ( A3E ).

2022 MIDI INNOVATION AWARDS Music Hackspace , The MIDI Association , and NAMM will present the winners of the second annual MIDI Innovation Awards . It gives musicians and inventors an opportunity to present their ideas on a global stage , as well as win prizes . The first prize is valued at more than $ 10,000 and includes passes to The 2022 NAMM Show , an exhibition booth at The 2023 NAMM Show , as well as significant support from The MIDI Association and Music Hackspace for the development of MIDI 2.0 prototypes . The MIDI Innovation awards are open to individuals , artists , and companies who work with MIDI to build innovative products or interactive experiences . The finalists will pitch their entries during a livestream open to all to watch on May 28 th on MIDI . org . Then the winners will be announced at The NAMM Show on June 4 th .
