Korg MS-20 FS Monophonic Synthesizer Korg is now shipping the MS-20 FS monophonic synthesizer . This is a 1:1-scale reissue of the ‘ 70s-era MS- 20 , reborn in four limited-edition colours ( green , white , blue , and black ).
In recreating the original MS-20 while adding new features , the MS-20 FS is a 37-key classic analog monosynth with patch bay , external signal processor , MIDI In , and USB . The original MS-20 , unveiled in 1978 , played a vital role Korg ’ s history as a synthesizer brand . Since sales of the original ended , the company released a mini-sized reissue , a software synthesizer plug-in , and even a DIY kit version . Now with the MS-20 FS , Korg has resumed production of a completely assembled full-size MS-20 , which had in 2014 been produced only in very small numbers as a kit . The original is reproduced in every detail , including the package finish , owner ’ s manual , and settings chart . But in addition to recreating the sound , feel , and analog circuitry , this full-size reissue consists of limited numbers of the four different powder-coated color variations .

Gibson Signature Orianthi SJ-200 Custom Acoustic
Guitar Gibson has partnered with Australian guitarist Orianthi ( Alice Cooper , Michael Jackson ) to introduce the signature SJ-200 Custom .
The Orianthi SJ-200 is finished in nitro-coated cherry red and based on the company ’ s classic jumbo acoustic guitar with a AAA Sitka spruce top and solid maple back . It also features a slimline ES-345 mahogany neck and Grover Keystone tuners . The company says Orianthi was very involved in the guitar ’ s design process and , based on her specifications , it features an electric guitar neck to make the SJ-200 a “ shredder ’ s acoustic .” The design is meant to offer the same full SJ-200 sound but able to play much faster with a 345 neck on it . Orianthi also worked with L . R . Baggs in developing a custom pickup and preamp system , which tucks a piezo under the saddles and mounts the preamp and controls out of the way in the sound hole . It also features a custom pickguard with lotus flower design , mother-of-pearl lotus flower inlays on a rosewood fingerboard , and Orianthi ’ s signature logo on the headstock .

The Acoustic Pedal offers a host of versatile features but maintains simple controls and setup . Its low-noise JFET circuit design ensures low levels of background noise , without hiss , whilst still maintaining a lot of headroom for a clean , clear acoustic tone . Its powerful , notch-controlled E Q allows players to subtly sculpt their sound and tackle feedback . The fixed Bass and Treble knobs provide control of the “ body ” and “ sparkle ” of an instrument , while the transparent , buffered FX Loop offers acoustic players an ideal signal chain for loopers , reverbs , and delays .
