On the cultivation side, essentially Emblem’s production group, we’ve got our Paris, ON closed-box facility where we produce premium medical cannabis products. We’re also very excited about our recent announcement to purchase all of the outstanding shares of Natura Naturals, a large and experienced grower of medical cannabis based in Leamington, ON. With the Natura acquisition, Emblem will grow to include 662,000 sq. ft. greenhouse facility with a total capacity of up to 70,000 kg by the end of 2019.

This acquisition marks an important next step for Emblem. It ensures we have stronger capacity and an increased supply pipeline to meet current and future demands both domestically and internationally.

Our medical division oversees our product development efforts and is responsible for leading the introduction of our metered-dose formats later this year and in 2019. It oversees our R&D efforts, product development, our GMP-certified extraction laboratory, physician outreach and GrowWise, our patient education team that operates across Canada. We’re also aggressively pursuing international expansion as many markets begin to open with medical-first products.

Our adult-use division will focus on developing a house of brands strategy that speaks to multiple segments within the recreation market coming on-line in October 2018. We recently launched our first adult-use brand, Symbl, which inspires consumers seeking recreational cannabis to “get curious”. We also recently formed a partnership with GreenSpace Brands – a leading CPG company – to launch a line of CBD-infused health and beauty products within the adult-use market.

Almost in reverse order because I for one absolutely love how you refer on page 23 to your “Fundamental Strategy” as Our Connected Eco-System. We were amongst the first to use the term “ecosystem” for this industry and it has since become a term synonymous with existing successfully in this space. Can you quickly walk us through how this strategy will differentiate Emblem from the pack?
