anti-anxiety treatments for pets and that CBD can help fill that market gap. However a 2018 nationwide survey of 1068 dog owners carried out by Colorado state university revealed that nearly 80% of pet owners bought hemp or cannabis product for their dogs. And studies such as one recently reported and led by Dr. Stephanie McGrath of Cornell University, showed an 89% decrease in epileptic seizures for dogs that were treated with CBD. This study was published recently in

Frontiers in Veterinary Science.

An 89% decrease in seizures when there are not many avenues to help, sounds extremely promising. If there was even a 2% chance and my dog was experiencing seizures, I would be all over CBD as a treatment. 89% seems like a no-brainer to me!
