We are Canada’s 7th fastest growing StartUp as defined by the national StartUp 50 awards which are held annually in Canada. From 2016 to 208 our revenue growth was over 2,000%. Our growth is driven by both strategic acquisitions and strong organic growth across our operating verticals. Our 5 year plan from 2018 to 2023 is to grow into a $100 Million revenue company and we have put up some impressive numbers to start.

Who are some of your blue-chip customers in North America?

Our customers own buildings and operating facilities that require large amounts of power to operate. We provide solutions and technologies to reduce their overall cost of energy, increase their profitability and help them comply with applicable emission requirements.

We have a very strong and established Blue chip customer base. For competitive reasons we are not, in many cases, allowed to discuss our customers in relation to the specific solutions we provide. However we do service numerous Fortune 500 customers in Canada and the US with most of our business in Canada but with our expansion plans in the US.

We have recently started to supply our services to the Cannabis industry and given the highly competitive nature of this industry we cannot disclose who we are customers are.

What % of your portfolio clients are in Canada and what % are in the United States?

Currently 80% of our business is in Canada and up to 20% in the USA but we expect that to move to 50% - 50% over the next 5 years. An interesting way to think about our growth potential is the Apartment unit sector which we serve. There are approximately 1 million rental apart units across Canada and approximately 1 Million in the greater New York area alone. That’s just one example of the significant potential of the US market for Kontrol over time.
