The same has already been happening in Jamaica, for example there is a wide range of CBD products inside chain brand pharmacies. There is great interest in exclusive agreements with suppliers such as ourselves from many different industries like cosmetics, pharmaceutical and alcohol that are taking advantage of product innovation through cannabis. In the United States alone the CBD market is on its way to generating in upwards of $20 billion a year. Hemp is really changing the game across all industries.

CIM: How do you plan on exporting product to the United States, Canada, and other international locations?

CIM: Who are your major Competitors? What separates you from your competitors? What are your strategic differentiators and competitive advantages?

VC: With that being said, companies within our markets are Marigold is a subsidiary of Ontario-based company, Aphria, Tweed JA is a joint venture of Ontario-based Canopy Growth and Grow House Limited JA. Another Ontario-based The Green Dutchman entered a strategic partnership with Epican Medicinal, a Jamaican vertically integrated cannabis company. Jacana a Jamaican based cannabis company raised $20 million in their first round of funding. To our knowledge at this time there is no one in Jamaica with non-conditional and full approval to farm over 100 acres of hemp like we do and this separates us from many of our competitors. Our origin defines our process and product and helps us stand out through our branding as a Jamaican grown product.

VC: We have forged strong alliances with top logistics companies that have specialized sectors for the cannabis industry. These are companies with decades of experience in domestic and international trade, supplying products from all over the world. With the support of the Jamaican authority, we are excited to provide a Jamaican hemp product to any international country that is prepared for import of our product.
