Let’s start first with the problem. North American buildings represent an annual $200 Billion USD energy industry growing much faster than inflation. Of that $200 Billion USD annual industry approximately $50 Billion USD is wasted due to energy inefficiency. In addition to the energy problem North American buildings contribute up to 40% of all greenhouse gas emissions. Those are big problems that we are tackling with our solutions and technology.
How we do that is through the integration of smart energy devices, energy software and energy retrofits to help organizations benefit from energy cost savings and minimize their greenhouse gas emissions.
Before we start talking about the cannabis industry, let’s establish your credibility outside of the cannabis industry. You were ranked “Canada’s 7th Fastest Growing Startup.” What were some of the metrics used to receive this award?
