Hello There!
To my fellow Canadians – hoping you had a fantastic Thanksgiving and of course we all know it but … yes, winter is coming ….
Right here in Canada, we have much to give thanks for and let’s all take a moment to wish our neighbours to the south a Happy Thanksgiving.
October 17th came and went and the world did not end. The markets behaved text book with the anticipatory run up followed by profit taking (strong selling) followed by an upward turnaround. For many, such text book performance is right there with watching the paint dry but prepared retail investors exited and opened positions accordingly.
Supply shortages are expected to persist in one form another for between three to five years according to some sources. Comparable substitutes should be available when you favourite strain sells out but that could be in six months to a year. The Ontario government appears to have taken the right approach because the alternative is a long drive to stand in line just to be disappointed. Those that bet their reputations that there would be too much supply – well they bet their reputation so let’s leave it there. How many industries are there where the only legal supply outstrips demand and that is expected to persist. Our industry leading stock lists, strategies, warrants and options strategies rewarded investors.
This month’s articles by Matt Maurer and Co, Whitney Abrams, Jason DeJean, and Michelle Leroux are absolute must reads in addition to our case studies and exclusive introduction to Options discussion appearing in From The Retail Investors’ Perspective. Don’t forget to subscribe to our US edition and the other magazines in our family because we are the industry leaders in all things cannabis for good reason. Others use emails to headline spam or to promote their paid for conferences and subscriptions. Stop using your hard earned money to pad the pockets of the opportunists. Until next time – Invest Long and Prosper.
