Lift & Co.: Thanks Louis, great to speak with you. It’s an incredibly exciting time for the industry and we’re really excited about the next phase of growth as a public company. Rebranding to Lift & Co. is key to this path as we prepare to welcome millions of legal cannabis consumers and more businesses to our platform.
CCIM: For over two years, CCIM has advised its readers of the need to view the industry as a vibrant ecosystem subject to shocks. Some shocks are so powerful that they can fundamentally change the environment. Much like the Science Fiction concept of “Terraforming”, CCIM refers to these shocks as “Ecoforming”. Once completed, there is often no signs of the old landscape. Would you agree with that? What is Lift & Co.’s own experience and please include in your response relevant facets of the current Reverse Take Over (RTO) that Lift & Co. is a part of?
Lift & Co.: From an investment perspective, we’ve seen an interesting evolution amongst licensed producers who, as you know, have been dominating headlines with massive production expansion and M&A. The first inning in develop-ment of this industry was about having a sales license. The second inning, which we’re just now wrapping up, was an arms race for funded capacity. The inning we’re about to enter is adult-use market share and international expansion. This is where the next wave of investment will flow into. We’re excited to be part of this wave of investment with the $15M financing we launched last week with GMP Securities.
