For many investors in what is a volatile market … this drama is enough for them to invest elsewhere even if just to wait to buy in at a lower price. And this is why I started this article with “the more things stay the same”. Since my first article in our USA edition (over two years ago) we have repeatedly cautioned you to filter out noise when conducting due diligence. After doing your own research, if you were like minded as a result, such opinion pieces as these could provide reassurance but be careful because like-minded does not necessarily mean accurate. How many readers take the time and effort to validate every point someone makes? By the time they did, the share price has moved. Some investors likely knew the share price would retreat even if they sided with the position of Isodiol because of this published bearish material. This is self-fulfilling prophecy – the chicken or the egg! The opinion piece was written on April 23rd and the share price since then has fallen from $0.94 to a low of $0.78 on April 26th – over 17% in less than three days and the MJ Canadian Index fell just over 2% during the same time span.
