There is a juxtaposition in our pioneering notion that one should view the cannabis industry as a vibrant ecosystem subject to sudden changes that can fundamentally alter the landscape because despite that basic truth the more things change the more they stay the same. As a refresher, we refer to events that cause changes to the industry as “Ecoforming”.

Hucksters and manipulators continue to write self-serving pieces that may have succeeded to temporarily move share prices or at a minimum planted the seeds of doubt and skepticism in the minds of some current as well as potential investors. One such piece was written by “Hindenburg Investment Research” that suggested that the merger between Aphria Inc. and Nuuvera Inc. was not in the best interest of stakeholders. A quick review of this entity shows it specializes in short selling and is named in at least one current lawsuit. Their name references the doomed air ship Hindenburg and in the opinion of your humble servant (me) that sure takes some moxy.
