legalization comes into play, we have to look at the hypocrisy of government leaders already making millions but have not determined how to eliminate the black market.

CCIM: I see. Interesting times lay ahead. A number of your session “titles” suggest this may be a topic... Will there be discussion on what happens with the Medical Industry once prohibition ends? Some believe THC will be capped in the legal adult recreational market for example and the two “industries” will run parallel – one Federal (medical) and the other predominantly Provincial (recreational) … thoughts?

O'Cannabiz: That’s definitely an interesting idea; one that I think will drum up some great discussion at the Conference. We have a handful of sessions that will help answer those questions including: Clear Insight and Bright Ideas - Big Data for Medical and Recreational Cannabis Markets, where panelists will dive into the different strains of cannabis, how and why the medical and recreational worlds will prescribe and favour certain strains, and what Big Data companies are doing to help to navigate and influence these decisions.

CCIM: Thank you for your time and I know that myself and the CannaInvestor Magazine team look forward to attending O’Cannabiz this year. Is there anything you would like for our readers to know as we bring this interview to an end?

O'Cannabiz: If any of your readers are interested in breaking into the industry, we welcome them to attend our Pre-Conference Bootcamp taking place on Thursday, June 7. It’s the perfect prep course to the cannabis industry, with the business basics needed to properly absorb complexities to come. The full day of sessions will touch on topics including cannabis brand building, expanding market opportunity and revenue, and the history and future of farming. Each session will wrap with an expert Q&A that will simplify the entrepreneurial learning curve.

Thank you, Louis. We look forward to having you!
