explore the latest regulations, industry standards and best practices for medicinal and recreational marijuana as well as real-life applications such as food infusions, wellness and beauty applications and technological innovations.

The Expo will run in conjunction with the Conference and is targeted to both the general public and industry members alike. There will be nearly 200 exhibitor booths with companies ranging from clinics and licenced producers to growing aids.

CCIM: For the sessions, how does one register or is it first come first served at the time of each presentation?

O'Cannabiz: Sessions are open to Conference ticket holders – those with either “Main Conference” or “VIP” passes, which also include a ticket to the two day Expo. They are first-come, first served on-site, no advanced registration is necessary but we definitely recommend arriving early to get a seat as we anticipate them being very popular. Three concurrent sessions will be running at any one given time as well, so delegates have a choice of which they prefer to attend. There will also be some panels and workshops taking place on the Expo side. These will also be first come, first served. The full schedule is available on the website so people can plan out in advance what they’d like to attend.

CCIM: Can you walk me through the two breakfast panels and are there still tickets available?

O'Cannabiz: We’re very excited to host these two panels once again this year. We have made them even more interactive than last year as well as more accessible.

The Newcomer Investors Networking Breakfast is a can’t-miss opportunity for some targeted networking with prospective investors and possible equity partners for those looking for some seed-money to help get their cannabis start-ups off the ground.

We also have the ‘Roll’ Models: Women Leaders in Cannabis Breakfast. Because this is a newer industry, really formed in the 21st Century, it is less male dominated and we’re seeing a lot more opportunity for female entrepreneurs to succeed. We've gathered a list of impressive women who will give motivational and inspirational talks, providing invaluable advice for succeeding in a business literally built on growth and open to new ideas. Many of the women speaking at this event will then be joining us in The Green Tent, where women from all sides of the industry will come together for a meeting of the minds with free flowing discussions and workshops to help them advance in the ever-growing landscape of the cannabis industry.

There are still a few tickets available for both breakfasts.
