Lastly, one could consider investing in a streaming company such as the Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp (TSXV:CBW) that, time of writing, already had 16 streaming deals with 14 companies including four Licensed Producers: Harvest One Cannabis Inc, Green ReLeaf, Evergreen Medicinal Supplies, and Broken Coast. Beleave Inc has a 10 year deal with CBW. CBW, CRZ, and IAN are included in the Stock Pick lists. When looking at the list based on revenues, there are companies with impressive revenue numbers, low public floats, and a relative low share price (ie: relatively low market cap).

Diversification internationally in a lower risk environment that may not exist currently in the US, for example, may be found in Uruguay:

Uruguay will become the first country in the world to legally sell cannabis over the counter in pharmacies. The South American country had already legalized cultivation, distribution and consumption of marijuana in 2013 but authorization for pharmacies has not been secured until now. "Cannabis will be dispensed in pharmacies starting in the month of July," President of the National Drug Board Juan Andres Roballo told a press conference Thursday. Under the law, buyers must sign up for a national registry of marijuana users and cannot exceed the monthly maximum purchase of 40 grams. The country's National Drugs Council said the price will be $1.30 per gram and the drug is only available to Uruguayan citizens or permanent residents. URUGUAY

International Cannabis Corporation (TSXV:ICC; OTC:ICCLF) has operations in Uruguay and is focused on the licensed production, development and sale of industrial hemp and recreational cannabis, cannabinoid extracts and by-products for medicinal uses. ICC’s Uruguay plans were recently featured on BNN. And what about Germany? This G7 nation is following Canada’s lead and will be the largest legal cannabis market in the world. There are LPs with either a foot in the German market or with plans for international expansion (that may include Germany).
