Health Canada has announced it will be speeding up the approval process for those in the queue to become a licensed producer. There are several companies with low share prices that have stated that they are in the later stages of the approval process or that they have partnered with/intend to partner with (including product development/formulation only) licensed producers or have/are acquiring late stage applicants. A link to identify such late stage applicants can be found in the addendum to this article. The following is a small sample list, in no particular order, for discussion purposes only:

There are others of course and the above list is purely for illustrative purposes and does not infer a suggested short list to consider. What is interesting about MYM, for example, is that not only did they close the acquisition of an inspection stage ACMPR applicant but also entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the brand HempMed. Subscribers know that much attention has been dedicated to the animal care sector and the biopharma sector – HempMed seems to hit both (HempMed2) . On May 4, MYM announced a non-brokered private placement suggesting they are on not done yet and they are also listed on the FRA in Germany.
