CANADA

HIGH TOURS

Branding, Marketing and PR

We have intentionally steered away from pot leaves, smoking Cheech and Chong imagery. Tokyo Smoke and Friendly Stranger head shops - I think the latter needs a face lift and image change and the former is too exclusive I feel. A happy medium is needed and that is what we are aiming for. We have recently invested in some picture editing software enabling us to bring static images to life which works extremely well on Instagram. It helps us convey our message and gives images that ‘far out’ and ‘trippy’ look. It’s akin to being stoned and looking at a static image. I am not sure why the government has just forked out $170,000 on “weed goggles”. They could have just looked at my video clips for free. I would obviously prefer they hired my Oculus Rift Virtual Reality kit for a week at $140 which would be a lot better and more realistic for them I am sure.

Check them out here, there are currently around fifty clips.

We need to get our brand in front of Weedmaps.com and Leafly.com users as well as tourists coming in via airports, trains, buses and cars.

We are currently looking to leverage TTC's ‘tconnect’ free Wifi network for some branded advertising on the underground metro system in Toronto. If this works, we will look at other vendors and transport provider offerings and hope to do the same.

We will also be looking to incorporate some viral co-efficient marketing strategies into these campaigns in efforts to grow our subscribed user database for future marketing purposes. The guys we are working with on this are Upviral and this is a new integration platform project for both of us. Referral marketing on steroids I like to think.
