There is great access to Toronto and it will be seen as an attractive alternative cannabis friendly destination from EMEA markets too.

Amsterdam is a little tired. Westjet and Air-Transat now offer return airfares including tax from under £350 off peak from London Gatwick to Toronto Pearson. Toronto is now a very attractive alternative also having Michigan, Ohio and New York not too far away at a six hour drive.

Once recreational cannabis use comes into effect, we believe we are going to see a huge demand from the public to be educated in 'Cannabis Culture' both domestically and from international tourists alike.

We realise the complete framework is yet to be established for bill C-45, with the jury still out on the “where exactly are these forty or so Ontario dispensaries going to be located”? I think it's safe to assume there are going to be some downtown in areas currently occupied by existing “dispensaries”.

We are still waiting to hear on the “where can I consume?” challenge. Will they allow the lounges to take in recreational use? What about hotels? I think they will have to here. We are however, preparing for the scenario where they won't allow recreational consumption in existing or new lounges and hotels by using local hosts who own their own residences and can host and provide tours and experiences and more importantly, consumption in their own homes.

In terms of frameworks for the individual tours, a lot hinges on the final framework advice from Ontario Government. As for each tour (to differentiate them from “normal” tours) we will be building in the ‘Cannabis Culture’ in some way to each tour. So for example, a tour or experience could begin or end with a visit to your chosen dispensary outlet and lounge, or just dispensary then do the tour. We fully expect guests to turn up stoned and possibly leave our tours and experiences stoned, and we are 100% ok with that.
