QCC: Cybernetic is our engineering and automation firm. They provide us with all our in-house manufacturing and technical know-how. Additionally, Cybernetic provides a range of equipment and automation services to businesses other than Quadron including Schneider Electric and Surquip to name a couple.

Soma Labs is the brand that we sell our extraction and processing equipment and laboratory installations under.

Greenmantle is our ancillary products business where we provide custom branded ancillary cannabis products and dispensing devices to authorized industry operators.

CCIM: How important is it to QCC and therefore to its shareholders that QCC be diversified such as Cybernetic’s recent contracts with a USA theme park and to be chosen by Schneider Electric Canada Inc. (“Schneider”) to be their certified drives panel builder for British Columbia?

QCC: As in any business, diversification of business lines and customers decreases the organization's overall risk profile and is a great luxury to have. We’re very fortunate that Cybernetic has a great stand-alone business that will grow independently of our own, but with cross-over and synergies to Quadron and the work that we are doing in the cannabis and extraction industry.

CCIM: Cheers. There is no escaping the elephant in the room so let’s get right to it … USA presence in the cannabis industry such as with Lucid Labs in Washington?

QCC: Exactly. As an equipment manufacturer and supplier, we are not bound by borders and have a global base of customers. We’re expanding across Canada as well as distribution into the US, evidenced by our partnership with Lucid Labs. This partnership gives instant distribution and access to the Western US market and we see other similar opportunities as a great area of growth for us.

CCIM: So QCC is not only diversified along business lines, but also geographically. Why do you feel that is important to QCC and how does that translate into shareholder value?

QCC: It just makes the market that much bigger. While the Canadian market is a big opportunity for us it’s only a fraction of the worldwide market. We see Quadron being a GLOBAL leader in extraction technology, equipment and processing solutions.
