On June 7, 2018, Bill C-45 was adopted in the Senate by a vote of 56 to 30, with one abstention, after its third reading at the Senate. Although many have marked this as the final step towards legalization of recreational cannabis in Canada, there are many questions to which answers will be provided between now and the Bill receiving Royal
Assent and becoming law, many of which have nothing to do with C-45 itself. This month we highlight a few unanswered questions that the industry ought to be watching between now and the fall.
