Hard to believe our 1st Anniversary has come and gone so fast and here we are once again staring down Canada Day. When we predicted in 2016 (USA edition) that the recreational market in Canada would not exist until late 2018 at the earliest we were met with boos. With the government sponsored Senate Amendment allowing for a THC cap it appears that our other prediction that recreational cannabis may have THC caps appears more and more as a possibility. The reason for a cap of course is to only limit the amount of THC that would be consumer per dose or use but also to ensure that high level THC strains were the domain of the medical stream. Some remarked how the House rejected that amendment but they did so only because the legislation already accounted for it.
Time will tell …
