Friends, Spring is in the air … can you feel it?

Despite the annual blip in the markets perhaps worsened by an escalating trade war or two, I cannot help but feel stoked about the future for this industry and for the legitimate stakeholders within it. On the ROI side, I know a few people personally who have transformed a few thousand into buying a home with cash, and in the Greater Toronto Area no less, because their investments were held inside a TFSA and they invested based on their due diligence. Yes, they each subscribe to CannaInvestor Magazine.

I am also stoked because as if the premier of Ontario could read my thoughts, Ontario will be leading the way to ensure that those that give investment advice are properly accredited such as being a CFP or a CPA. The days of the out of province promoters being paid by companies to curate investment oriented content and releasing it on investor oriented domains is numbered. The gig will soon be up for them and the legitimate stakeholders will be better off because of it – we can only hope other jurisdictions follow suit. Predicting and welcoming the end of these hucksters will always be the CannaInvestor advantage.
