Cheers … let’s change gears and speak to genetic diversity.

Absolutely. One of the things that is unique to the OneLeaf portfolio is our catalogue that has over 700 unique cultivars. This also allows us to breed together and generate new strains and provide new experiences.

It is interesting you bring up new varieties. Many scientists believe long term, a ‘crop’ view will come and breeding is needed. Do you agree?

There is no one size fits all variety. We need to stabilize cultivars and have a variety of profiles. For outside grow, diversity is key as it is not possible to ensure consistent grows outside. When planting thousands of seeds outside, cloning is not possible. To have a stable cultivar in outside grow is important.

OK. Will your formulations be diverse? Such as to include THCV that we know is a natural appetite suppressant or THCA that is showing to have many of the same benefits as CBD without the need to go through the heating (decarboxylation) process?

Absolutely. As more data comes in, and we understand better the effects of secondary cannabinoids we will look at including these formulations. Many of the genetics in the OneLeaf portfolio are already expressing these rare and valuable cannabinoids in high proportions.

Is there a correlation to be found between reducing inflammation and a reduction in the many diseases said to be caused by inflammation?
