Gillibard’s Legalization Plan

As everyone knows, regulations and political news are highly important triggers for the cannabis industry in the United States. In a landmark development in June, a committee belonging to the Delaware House of Representatives managed to pass a recreational marijuana legalization bill. On the other hand, Senator Kirsten Gillibard unveiled his own plan that could lead to cannabis legalization that would look at the issue from the point of view of social equality.

Illinois Became The 11th State To Have Legalized Marijuana

On the other hand, Governor J. B. Pritzker made Illinois the 11th state in the United States to have legalized marijuana and needless to say, it is a huge development for the marijuana industry in the country. In this regard, it is important to note that this was a significant campaign pledge that had been made by Pritzker and he managed to deliver on it. He said that this legalization of marijuana would help reset the battle on the war on drugs.

House Historic Vote

This was possibly the most important development all month as the House of Representatives of the United States managed to vote in favor of an amendment by way of which legal cannabis programs, businesses, and individuals will be protected. According to the provisions of the amendment, the forces of the federal government, including its agencies would not be allowed to interfere in legal cannabis businesses.
