It has been brought to my attention that my trademarked and copyrighted character (Cannalyst) has a group calling themselves a variant of that name and even trademarked a plural version. Not to worry, their trademark has no legal standing or value as one cannot pluralize an existing trademark as a means to get around the laws of intellectual property protection. What you should do is what we always encourage you to do and that is to boycott such actors.

As most of you know, I have been an advocate for beverages since before Tinley was pre-production so to hear Molson predict beverages could represent 30% of the market came as to no surprise. Because it is summer, we basically stretch two issues over three months. I do not know about you but I am sick of the daily and weekly emails from so many paid promoters and content mining characters filled with nothing … just because they promised their paying clients they would get paid promotions out weekly. This month’s article by our very own Whitney Abrams speaks about influencers and promoters from a legal perspective.

Happy summer everyone ! Until next time – Invest Long and Prosper.
