We have a brand new 48,000ft2 EU-GMP compliant facility in Saskatchewan. We have 17,000ft2 built out for cultivation and Hill Street will construct their bottling facility in the other ~31,000ft2. As we approach October and as new product formats are coming out – as a licensed producer we started to look at where the opportunities are. Or facility could do $25 million in dry flower, but if we do beverages that could increase to $100 million. We see this is as not only the natural evolution of our company but of the industry as well. Developing finished products that provide what consumers want.

Trevor … OneLeaf was acquired by Hill Street per their May 28th News Release. OneLeaf is at the “evidence stage” in the application process. What does OneLeaf bring to Hill Street?

We are looking at a full product roadmap. It starts with what we feel is the right way to start, and that is with adult recreational beverages.

The intoxicants we consume now are generally wine, beer, spirits, cocktails and ready to drink beverages. The number one intoxicant in the world is alcohol. We have chosen to open our roadmap strategy with the most popular alcohol intoxicants we consume – beer and wine. So we are starting there and, especially now with Dr. Guppy from OneLeaf joining the team, we have the ability to extend from adult recreational use into therapeutic use. We will move into beverages that have functional elements to them such as meal replacements, sports recovery, nutraceuticals, and ultimately we want to move into the medical arena. He (Dr. Guppy) has already had meetings with some of the major research institutes that have partnered with us (Arthritis Society, Prostate Cancer Foundation). They are just thrilled to meet someone with his expertise and credentials especially when they learn of the very specific focused area of his research. To be able to work together and collaborate on where this plant and the ability to use the extracts from this plant will take us.
