There are many euchre, poker, bridge, and other social activities at retirement homes and I have often seen first hand residents enjoying a few drinks with one another. Some LPs, such as Aurora, offer patient ready (milled) cannabis that has already been decarbed – perfect for adding to existing cooked food etc but still not ideal for many. Cannabis infused drinks just may offer the ideal delivery method for this segment. There is also something appealing to many regardless of age of not having to take pills – imagine drinking your medication (or recreational use where legal) while in the presence and company of others and enjoying a good social get together – poolside perhaps or maybe by a fire at night. The limits are those of your imagination as to when and where it is acceptable to enjoy a drink and if it is for medication purposes the chore of swallowing pills is replaced with enjoying a drink.
