Summer is here and we all know what is just a few days away … yes, the sesquicentennial anniversary of Canadian Confederation. And on that same day marks the start of the official countdown to the proposed end of prohibition in Canada.

The success of the Canadian CannaInvestor Magazine I feel lies in the team we have assembled. We are all burning the midnight oil for our subscribers and we all do it out of passion. I cannot think of any other source with the breadth and depth of our contributing writers and staff.

Since our last issue was published a lot has happened! Health Canada announced it was streamlining and accelerating the process for issuing licenses. To test that, I did a simple count and did not distinguish between sales and cultivation/production and dry/oils. Seven licenses were issued between January 1st and May 25th. Between May 26th and June 20th, there were six licenses issued.
