On December 13, 2017, the company announced that it had entered into an exclusive agreement with Aurora Cannabis (TSX: ACB) to license its portfolio of MüV branded medical products in Canada, Europe, and Australia in exchange for royalties on sales. The specifics of the deal are expected to be announced within 90 days of the press release.
California is a very lucrative market for the company. It serves as a growing revenue generator through the medical and recreational markets, as well as, more significantly, a primed market for continued acquisitions of leading consumer brands and intellectual property. With adult recreational access on Canada's horizon in summer of 2018, one could expect that the company will see further licensing deals of their portfolio of brands and IP to Canadian LP's looking to participate in the market with turnkey branding and processing.
