In many ways we reflect on various aspects of our lives as one year ends and a new one begins. The start of 2018 for the index may have many investors reflecting on many things. For months, we have been preparing our readers because bearish periods such as this one are part of the course. The cause of the pullback could be one or more of many forces: large number of recent financings; profit taking; short selling by funds; or news such as this. Much of the content of our writers over these past few months have echoed that natural tendency but applied it to investment strategies and with a focus on this industry specifically.
February is often referred to as “RRSP Season” here in Canada and I encourage you to read this month’s article by leading Financial Advisor Jason DeJean. There is one more reason why I think you just may find his article of particular interest so Jason’s article this month is a must read because you just may want to be on his list.
