Canadian CANNAINVESTOR Magazine December 2018 | Page 56

We are anticipatory. We had a stock list using revenues as a key driver long before others did including those that charge fees. We wrote on beverages, edibles, animal care, Germany, etc and often before others. We discussed Alliance One (now Pyxus) last march whereas others did not discuss this company until months later.

We connect the dots ... I myself wrote MannKind Corporation some time ago suggesting their disruptive technology for diabetes (inhaler not injection) could be a game-changing delivery mechanism in the medical cannabis space because it represents the optimal delivery method (inhaled) without it being smoked or vaped. Just recently, we are seeing more news about how MannKind's technology is going to be used in the medical cannabis industry.

I wrote a specific craft brewery over a year ago that they should look at Cannabis beverages and from there I recommended a specific company in the cannabis industry for them to look to. Over a year later and just weeks ago, those two exact companies announced a partnership together. So we appeal to those who want to get a sense of where the industry is headed rather than what stock to buy now to sell shortly for that quick buck. As my sign off says ... Invest Long and Prosper.

We can also turn your question on its head and the person who likely will not benefit as much would be: short sellers, those that participate in paid promoter "campaigns" or paid memberships to learn what company or companies that a paid membership is collectively targeting and those looking at the magazine for lifestyle reasons. in other words ... what we are not. We are not a lifestyle publication. We are not paid stock promoters/industry influencers. We do not run investment related promotional campaigns. We do not sell memberships so those that pay can be front of the line for targeted share price manipulation or to pay to get public domain information. We are not hobbyists or bloggers looking for our 15 minutes of fame. We are not opportunists trying to be on every interview and mainstream media. We are not creating new conferences and expos hoping to cash in. We do not put self-interest over service.

Our team that includes yourself - we do not find the time to contribute to the magazine or post secondary institutions. We make the time. Again, service over self interest - that is why people should subscribe. Our subscribers already include the "who's who" list of the industry because of our mission, our vision, our philosophy, and our approach. It really is a story of build it and they will come and all of us on the Canadian team are here and in it for what I feel are truly the reasons that matter.
