Great question. Someone who wants to first and foremost learn - learn from leading experts such as yourself, Whitney Abrams, Jason DeJean, Spiro Sertsis, Ryah Hum, and our many guest writers .... and from there to make decisions based on information and awareness. Those looking to make a fast buck based on stock promotions can typically look elsewhere. Do not get me wrong ... there is money to be made there -- it is just not a model I wanted any part of.

We provide investment strategies that outperformed the index that, along with our stock lists, were quickly replicated by others even if only in their key drivers. Now more than ever, as the industry rides the Consolidation

predominantly American subscriber base I knew I wanted a Canadian focus yet had to be applicable to the American environment.

The publication (CannaInvestor Magazione) was (and remains) free. No membership fees. No stock promotion campaigns. No front of the line access for a fee to get news first. I wrote an article as well as two case studies - one on Canopy Growth (in its infancy) and another on a company that was pre-production (the Tinley Beverage Company) because I could see the potential of infused beverages that were designed with health and wellness in mind (not full of corn syrup and flavours to mask the flavour). I wrote that one time article and never gave it another thought. The publisher however received many requests for more from the CPA that lives in the Great White North.

When the demand was there for a Canadian edition I was all over it. Sticking to my roots it was not about the money for me and never would be. I wanted the Canadian edition to be focused on education, awareness, and value added content from industry experts - no not just experts but rather the best of the best. And the rest is history .... a much longer answer than I thought but I had never been asked that before in a formal setting and I promised myself I would tell it all ...
