Do you discuss other investment vehicles with clients and how these other securities may be better suited to their specific investment objectives and risk profile ... ETFs, Mutual Funds, Warrants, Options, Debentures just to name some of the various investments available within the cannabis industry?

The benefit of being securities licensed (this different than the typically bank advisor) is access to many product offerings. Everything security has its place. Some people might prefer exposure to the cannabis sector through a fund or ETF. This lessens the likelihood of picking the wrong one and puts the money in the hands of professional money managers. The important thing is to have the conversation.

I very much appreciate your time... with the season almost upon us ... how does the DeJean household celebrate Christmas and how do you find the balance between the calmness and serenity of the season and the hustle and bustle of tax planning and the RRSP season ...?

We are a family of 5 with 3 boys ages 14, 12 and 8. Every day is something new! Christmas is generally spent with family and friends. This year we will be hosting our families Christmas day, so there will be plenty of food, drinks and laughs. This industry is really my passion, so its always on my mind. I do make sure to enjoy the moments as they come especially over the holiday season!
